"If you have to chase a thread and you left you tap & die set at home. This tool is you. When I first got this tool. I thought it might be nice to have and I will likely never use it. Another nice to have. Wrong.... The first time people saw me using it to fix some damaged threads on a bolt. Everyone wanted to try it. Now I have to do a tool count to make sure I still have it when it is time to go home."

"Worked great right out of the packaging on non-standard threads of an antique bed frame bolt held in a vise (I bought it just for that bolt and it lived up to the hype)- sized comfortably for a man's hand, performed smoothly during the repair, and it delivered great results even under the scrutiny of a magnifying glass. Also easy to use on machinery repairs, or bike repairs for example. And replacement cutters are supposed to be available too."
